Crawl a website's internal links server-side, starting from any URL — see total links found, unique pages discovered, link depth from the homepage, the most-linked pages, and pages at risk of being under-linked. SSRF-protected, no upload, up to 30 pages per crawl.
Crawls up to 30 pages, 3 levels deep, same-domain only. Larger sites will be partially analyzed.
Rather than reading a sitemap or requiring you to list URLs manually, this tool discovers pages the same way a search engine crawler does — starting from one URL, extracting every internal link found on that page, then following those links to discover more pages, level by level (breadth-first), up to a defined depth and page limit. This means the resulting picture reflects your site's actual, real-world link structure — including any pages a sitemap might list but that have no real internal links pointing to them from your live pages, which this crawl-based approach would naturally leave unreached and unreported (a limitation worth understanding, covered in the FAQ above).
A link only counts as internal if its protocol, hostname, and port all exactly match your starting URL's own origin — this deliberately excludes subdomains (since a subdomain is often operated as a functionally separate section or product, even when owned by the same company) as well as any genuinely external destination. This keeps the analysis focused specifically on the internal linking structure within one coherent site, rather than blending in an unrelated subdomain's link graph.
Beyond the headline numbers (total links, unique pages, max depth reached), the full page-by-page breakdown shows each discovered URL's depth, how many distinct pages link to it, how many distinct internal pages it itself links out to, and its HTTP status — enough detail to spot both structural patterns (which sections of the site are deeply nested) and concrete, fixable issues (broken links, thin internal linking to specific pages) in one pass.
Internal links are one of the few SEO levers a site owner has complete, direct control over — unlike backlinks from other sites, which depend on external goodwill, internal linking decisions (what links to what, and how prominently) are entirely up to whoever builds and maintains the site. A thoughtful internal linking structure helps search engines discover and prioritize your most important pages efficiently, helps real visitors navigate naturally to related content, and helps spread whatever ranking authority your site has more evenly across its pages rather than concentrating it all on the homepage.
This is a fast, on-demand structural snapshot, not a full crawling platform — it doesn't store results between visits, doesn't crawl an entire large site exhaustively, doesn't check external backlinks, and doesn't evaluate anchor text quality or relevance. For a comprehensive, ongoing site audit at scale, dedicated crawling software designed to run for extended periods and track changes over time is the right tool; this one is built for quickly understanding the link structure around a specific starting point right now.
Internal Link Analyzer pairs naturally with these SEO tools for a fuller technical audit.
